BDM LifeSafety Power Battery Disconnect Module

Designed to protect sensitive reader electronics, controllers, and other devices from the effects of voltage being too low for proper operation, the BDM can prevent permanent damage by disconnecting the battery when the voltage drops to 8.5V (12V battery) or 17V (24V battery).
