EL1551U Nitek Transmitter and Receiver for IP Cameras Over 2 Conductor UTP System - Up to 1,000 Feet

The EL1551U is another component of the NITEK cutting edge EtherStretch line. This Environmentally Hardened Etherstretch EL1551U solution extends 100Mbps of Ethernet communication over any ordinary pair of communication wires, UTP or any 2 conductor cables to transmit data from IP cameras and other network devices for distances up to 300 meters or 1,000 feet.

The EL1551U is a system containing a transmitter and a receiver unit that requires very little installation time and absolutely no set up or configuration. The system can quickly turn a pair of wires into a high speed network communication path.

The EL1551U is transparent to the network thus requiring no IP or MAC addressing. Simply connect your network devices to the networking ports of the transmitter and receiver along with existing cabling and the system begins communicating. The receiver ER1551U is provides power for the ET1551U, without the need for an external power supply. The ET1551U can also be powered directly to provide 802.3at 25.5 watts to the camera. LED indicators display the status and speed of network communications.

The NITEK EL1551U is ideal for upgrading an analog UTP video surveillance system to an IP system without replacing or even disturbing the cable infrastructure.
